With the holidays here, food banks are being stretched to their limits — just as families need them more than ever.
Please give by December 31st to help Canada’s food banks stay stocked and ready to help everyone who needs them in the weeks to come.

FOOD BANKS ARE STRUGGLING TO KEEP UP.
Food bank usage rose to the highest we’ve seen in our history – 32% compared to March 2022 and over 75% from 2019.
Hundreds of thousands more are now relying on Canada’s food banks this year.
On top of increased demand, food banks are facing rising costs and decreasing donations.

to be there for everyone who needs them.

“Behind every single one of these numbers is a person, and I know what it takes for someone to get to the point where they’re turning to a food bank for help, and so you replicate that two million times in a single month and it’s heartbreaking.”

CEO, Food Banks Canada
